Undergraduate Summer Intern
New Jersey City University · Jersey City, NJ
Selected for the 2026 Undergraduate Summer Internship Program: orientation, scheduled workshops, mentorship, and a final project presentation with the cohort.
I design and build reliable web experiences with a systems mindset — balancing sharp UI craft, thoughtful architecture, and measured delivery.
Aashish Joshi · CS @ NJCU
I'm a Computer Science junior at New Jersey City University focused on building performant, resilient products. I translate ambiguous ideas into clear architecture and polished user flows.
In summer 2026 I'm in NJCU's Undergraduate Summer Internship Program—a ten-week, paid cohort with workshops, faculty mentorship (Dr. Moitrayee Chatterjee), and a capstone project presentation.
Recent work spans full-stack web apps, lightweight APIs, and data-driven features. I'm intentional about accessibility, design systems, and measurable impact.
Let's Connect →Lean, shippable work that highlights my build quality, documentation, and design sense.
A modern toolkit for building products from idea to production.

Quick writeups on things I have hit in the wild—APIs, CSS layout, and shipping a portfolio that actually sends mail.
When the GitHub API is rate-limited or a token is missing, the UI should not go blank. I cache responses and fall back to a static projects.json so the page still tells a story.
A large intrinsic image width can force a flex row wider than the viewport. Setting min-width: 0 on the flex child and a fixed box with overflow: hidden plus object-fit: cover keeps avatars predictable.
Gmail expects the authenticated account in From. I send from my inbox address and put the visitor on Reply-To so messages land reliably and “Reply” still goes to them.
I'm actively seeking new opportunities. Whether you have a question, a proposal, or just want to say hi — I'll get back to you!
